What if she managed to freeze him for a few moments but then someone coming in from behind her or something bumps into her or knocks her down accidently and lets him go? It could be where she'd get hurt and also kinda fit with the scene since a hallway doesn't exactly have a lot of room

She made a gagging noise and covered her mouth, and had to peel her eyes from the wall. As she looked for Nathan, she noticed Camille's body lying on the floor in a heap, causing the brunette to almost lose her stomach again. She coughed, still trying to keep her mouth and nose covered. The stench, it burned her nose and lungs; the smell of burning flesh. She didn't know where to step, since pieces of Jonas where everywhere. She noticed Justin and Nathan then, and went over to Nathan. "Na- wha... what happened out here?" She asked and hesitated a moment before gently putting it on his shoulder. She almost didn't want him to tell her what had transpired.

The smell still lingered in the air, but she could tell that most of it had been cleaned up, her nose being so sensitive. Unnecessarily, he girl closed her eyes and concentrated on the vibrations of people moving about and into the infirmary. She knew she didn't want to go there; too many people there already. She could sense Lucas and his slight distress, and could sense Guy standing at the elevator, but couldn't tell who they were or if she knew them. With a small sigh through her sleeve, since it was still covering her nose and mouth, she waited for her roommate to join her and to confirm how bad the scene was.

"Yeah, better than anyone who was out here during whatever the hell happened." She said with a grimmance. "Seriously, how bad is it?"
